The Fulton County, Indiana, Chamber of Commerce presented the August, 2015 Shining Star Award to Diane Tesler, Wade Bussert and Julie and Ron Kern for going above and beyond preserving the life and work of the late artist, James Spencer Russell of Kewanna; specifically making the Russell 100th Birthday Exhibition and Celebration at Diane’s art space in Kewanna a huge success in the community. The event took place this past April 11th at Tesler”s Art Studio in Kewanna. Russell’s artwork was on display while visitors enjoyed birthday cake and other refreshments.
It was very special to be recognized by the Chamber for our event, which was quite successful and attended by approximately 250 people from the surrounding community and beyond.
