We are making excellent progress on what we are calling our “Big Book.”
The book tells the story of James Spencer Russell’s life and art. Photographs and ephemera, mostly from the collection of Wade Bussert, brings reality and historical context to Jim’s life and career. Selections from Satch’s collection show the breadth of Jim’s artwork. Also, thanks to Kelly and Pam Leeman we have two photographs of Jim’s Iconographic Constructions from his 1970 exhibition at Bernard M. Baruch College, New York City.
Here’s a sneak peek of just a couple of pages from the “Big Book.” Click on the photograph to enlarge.
